Complete face lift, no pun intended. Fixed some issues with the girl's face, from scratch, along with her shoulders. Hands are still a bit odd, but that was mostly planned, playing a little with distorting the persectives. Tattoos added for fun.
Eep, you spelled 'conversation' wrong in the title. x: But the image is beautiful!~ I love love the colors and the look of wonder/interest on the boy's face. : D
the atmosphere in this pic is nuts. not to say you outdid yourself in some cliche but it's true. loving the muted tans and greens. it's definitely giving off a rennaissance feel almost.
Ha I love this theme. This is an excellent inturpretation of the "talking with a dragon" fantays motif. I like the lookn of the dragon creature. you've given a very scary look without actually having overworked any of it. The tiny suggestion works wonderfully. The girl I find less amazing. Her arm is overlong and for some reason, to me, she doesn't look lie she's gazing at ehr compnaion. For soem reason, her face just doens't come off as convincingly animated as the creatures. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad, but teh creature is just so marvalous that it over shadows her IMHO.
Then again, I understand this was just a negotiation with painter so what they hey ^^

The angle/perspectvie on her arm, the direction her gaze reaches... and the way the dragon's posed and its gaze all work to not work at tying these two figures together. I just don't feel like they're actually interacting. I feel almost like the woman was acting with a bluescreen and the dragon was put in later for SFX purposes and he didn't quite align right.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Otherwise, very nicely done.

Having these balls makes me feel something that resembles joy, I think.
I want to caress them.
