Skull Swag Final Designs by skulldog Skull Swag Final Designs by skulldog

So, here we are, I’ve finished up all the designs I want to work with for now.

Let’s get the next step in this going. I need YOUR input! Help me pick the top three designs from each item type!

Right now the Kickstarter project to fund the creation of this neat swag is in progress. To keep things realistic and easier to handle, I’m only going to fund three stickers, three buttons, and three charms to start. Other designs will be used as stretch goals.

- Stickers will be die cut double vinyl suitable for outdoor use on things like cars. Aiming for four inches on one side for nice large designs.

- Buttons will be one inch in size, about US quarter sized, and GLOW IN THE DARK. OOO.

- Charms will be one and a half inch sized on a sturdy acrylic.

- Postcards and prints of this art and some other goodies are being priced and planned as well.

I need to narrow down which three will be the main items to create. I’ve set up a poll on LJ that anyone can vote on, and will help me keep track of the most popular designs. Click there to do cast your all important vote!

When will this go live? Ideally very late July, or early August.

I just updated my website to include that on the main page! www.theskulldog.com/blog should be up to date now.

Is it closed to voting? Or do you need to have an account on the website to vote?

Really? You can toss me your top three for each type here if you want, happy to accept your vote, but it's easier to count over on LJ. :x

STICKERS: Snake, dragon, tiger
CHARMS: crow, shark sushi, cerberus
BUTTONS: not so sure for these--bat, wolf , owl---I feel like these could use for a bit more pizazz .

Hah on man, I feel ya on the buttons, sadly printing for buttons suffer from two issues: one they have to be shrunk down to the less than quarter size to deal with the edge curl, and two the glow effect requires I use very set colors and no shading to make sure they look as good in the dark as they do unlit. These do look a lot better once pressed, I've made designs in the past with the basic art style: skulldog.storenvy.com/collecti…

Oh yeah those do look quite nice indeed! =)  I'll trust you on that that the buttons will look better once they're pressed.

and makes sense that you have to have set colors and no shading for it to glow well. awesome job on all of these!

No problem! I feel like it's just hard to express how blown up the art for the buttons is when I post it websized, compared to the much larger and more detailed stickers. My photos don't even do justice to the buttons in person, I can light a dark hallway with the container of them once charged.
