I've been working on this one between my 'required' art. I love it. *grin*

If we're counting, this is number 96 in the new theme list I started. 'In the storm'.

Sorit and Skai.

It's neat. I can tell by the beasty thing's expression that it's intelligent. I just wish I liked green more..
What is this theme list you started? If they're all gonna look this good, I want more. There's something very stylistically different in this piece than your usual artwork.
Hmmm.. for some reason it's not showing up for me... I see the thumb on your "recent works" page... but nothing here. :(
AH I HAD TO UP MY BRIGHTNESS TO SEE THIS BEEOTCH

it was so worth it, though :D

Nice work, love the beast in the cave. *strokes it*
Could it be that I'm adding in photo based textures? I dunno what else I did differently this time around.

Wow you like... asked me for more of my opinion. I'm kinda shocked and honored..
Actually, I can pinpoint a lot of things that are different. First - the image implies that the scene matters more than the characters in it. Very rarely do I see anything like that in anyone's art ever. So at that most basic foundation, the image is very different. Then, there's a lot of transparency. I see you moving more and more toward that, but it's full blown here. I don't know how you work, so I don't really know how to describe what I mean by "transparency"... That's just the first word that comes to mind when I see this. It's like the image comes from layers and layers of colors. The result is something incredibly close to realism. Being so much on the side of realistic, it loses your style. I think that's why my initial impression of this is that it's stylistically different.. I'm seeing rocks and trees and rain and animals.. Not rocks that Kei drew and trees and rain that Kei drew etc etc.
So.. those are my thoughts.. Now I'm embarrassed and run away.. lalalala.
